The prototype has been tested with data from Adama city district police office. While the data is being submitted the data is checked against the criminal’s list using primary key or unique number, if criminal or suspects found alert or report will be displayed to the system administrator with detail information. The information is submitted to the police office through the network and saved to their computer at the same time. Now, using our web system the hotel manager or receptionist access the customer booked in hotel registration page from the server, fills and hit submit button. Before we develop this project the international hotels daily fill form about their customers booked in and send by human labor to the nearby police station. Whenever the network is available the mini servers synchronize data with the central server at the district police office. The system and its database is configured or replicated to the police station’s mini server computers at each woredas. But if the internet is down, the system will work offline. All user of the system are communicating through the internet service provider infrastructure.

The system is web based application that enable user at the international hotels and at the four police office stations to communicate each other and with district police office. This project work automates web based crime and criminals tracking system. The system’s performance meets user’s requirements, hence providing the main benefit of concentrating all the library services and functions within the power of a mouse click and feeding of data into the system. In reference to this system’s objectives, a fully automated library book management system was developed using the aforementioned tools. They include: PHP scripting language, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery library, Cascading Style Sheets, MySQL 5.3 database running on Wamp Server, Bootstrap, Microsoft Visio 2010, Microsoft Project 2007, Microsoft Office 2010, Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, and Adobe Photoshop CS4. A number of tools were used to implement this system. This system aimed at automating the processes of cataloging, book circulation, fine calculation, card processing, member details maintenance, and reports generation. The system was intended to address the current problems experienced in Narok county libraries, with an emphasis on Maasai Mara University library which has not fully automated its services. Library Book Management System is an online application that was developed and designed with the sole objective of automating library services. Information systems have proved to be effective in implementing the business processes of most organizations and institutions across the globe. A majority of business solutions are automated to meet the changing needs of the end users. The advent of diverse information technology systems has revolutionized the way of doing things.
